Yes, you can receive mail through your mail servers using our 550access Dial up service. But to send emails with your pop account, you will only be able to use the 550access SMTP server. We have regulated and restricted this service to prevent the spread of viruses and Trojan horses on the network and also mainly to protect our customers. Most users simply create two email accounts (one with 550access, and another with current email provider) in outlook or outlook express and change the reply to address (for 550access email account). Doing this allows them to send and receive emails from other providers. Please keep in mind that in case of Regular Dialup plan, we do not provide 550acess email server for sending out pop email, so please be sure to ask your current email provider for additional information, on sending emails while still using the 550access dial up service. Also be sure to ask your email provider if they allow or provide VPN connections to that will allow you to send with your email account while connecting thru 550access. |
